Studio BALZER is David Balzer’s design studio. Dave works with a rogue’s gallery of talented individuals and great personalities. Dave specializes in brand identity, print collateral, and website design. He believes it is better to shoot for the stars and miss than to shoot for shit and hit. Success requires risk, innovation, and determination. In other words, the potential success of a project relies on the target opportunity.

David Balzer is a graphic designer with 18 years of brand identity, print collateral, website, and environmental graphic design experience. This experience includes five years as Creative Director for Seattle University and a Master’s in Business Administration. The graduate business degree has provided Dave with an understanding of business fundamentals and strategy. Because of his unique education and experience Dave is at ease in the studio or discussing business opportunities and challenges at the board table.

Dave has worked with small businesses, non-profits, and large institutions. A few of his clients include: Seattle University, GeoEngineers, 12th Avenue Iron, Pratt Fine Arts Center, G.Scott!Design, 4Culture/Historic Seattle, Pepperbox, MMB Collaborative, Laika Web Development and Design, Fall Line Winery, Washington Alpine Club, DeLuxe Bar and Grill, and Youth in Focus.

Dave is a Pacific Northwest local, growing up in Seattle and hiking through the backwoods of the Olympic Peninsula and Eastern Washington with his parents and younger sister. Married to Stacie Balzer, the two can be found exploring the Pacific Northwest wilderness, catching waves along the coast or otherwise looking for new adventures.
