Leopold’s Treehouse is my creative playground. It is a sandbox to share the drawings and sketches of the little monkey, Leopold. He is a curious monkey with a hankering for a good smoke and a stiff drink. These sketches are sometimes scribbles on a napkin or half-realized ideas.

In addition to the drawings of Leopold. I will be posting clips of inspiring ideas, other artists I admire, and photos and notes from recent trips and adventures. This may include photos from a mountain climb, a day at the beach, a visit to a gallery, or just a night out with friends. You can think of the treehouse as a repository or bulletin board of the things that feed my creative side and in turn illuminate the world of Leopold the monkey.

I enjoy drawing, photography, sculpture, and looking at the world from a child-like perspective. I do have a little bit of a twisted view and hopefully you find it a little humorous as well.

The drawings of Leopold are pen and ink and digital. When working on the computer I use a Wacom tablet and a combination of programs including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Sketch Book Pro. If something catches your eye and piques your interest please feel free to leave a comment or share it with others.
